hopping in for a moment

Caption: the "Night Watch" guys who came over from the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam.  they watch our nights.  occassionally they're knocked completely off the window in their work. ;)

my but i haven't stopped in here for a long time.   i had been looking through the Google search results for "postcard underground" which i do periodically and this site now bubbles up.   the main blog doesn't though which is still a bit of a puzzle but it pleases me.

so.....a spot to keep track of the PU project?   will say two things.
1.  it's more lonely here than i expected.  although i address over 80 people each week with the a direction for the cards, and although each of those people has expressed their interest and wish to play the game, it's still quiet at my desk.   i still feel as if i'm in it alone.  a lot.  i still wonder if it's enough for me to do this.    there is more trust to this than i expected.  and more need on my part for company which could translate into praise.
2.  just read another article about how "one person at a time" isn't enough to change our world.   do that *and* get into a serious, we're-out-on-the-street-until.. political movement.   i guess i have known that all along but i have stopped here.  the PU is an easy piece for me.   i need to keep thinking about the hard place....
