A second crazy happenstance in which it all comes full circle and there is a peek at the other end. Unfortunately in this instance I had suggested to posters that they choose one of three destinations for cards and when Anne Stephenson wrote her own blog about the arrival of cards she only had two. I so very hope that a couple others have shown up by now.
To an outside reader, I was a recipient of this blogpost only b/c I had signed up for posts at CoolPlanet to keep my ear to the ground, not b/c she knew where the cards came from.
I'm so pleased that our effort prompted her to blog in her CoolPlanet space. I think she hits the nail on the head. It's such a dreary, hard, long-range battle this climate change thing. Who isn't discouraged? It's too disheartening to think on, read about, or seriously talk over much less concentrate all your work hours there as well. It's right to encourage these people who ARE in these agencies and whose ethic and life view match it as well. They are even more exhausted than me. It was also clear that we created a buzz over there in MA. There was talk enough to write about it and write about it enough to read about it. More knowing, more thinking.
